What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Got the dreaded PO304 code on my Miata over the weekend. I really think it as it was fine after I cleared it. However, on one of my previous Miatas I had to replace the catalytic convertor when I couldn't get it home quick enough. So rather than risk a $400 cat I decided new plugs, coils and...

Aftermarket, I normally stay with the brand of the tool, but couldn’t find anything from Milwaukee except their charger for the heated jacket that was ridiculously expensive and got terrible reviews. This can be used with the jacket, but got decent reviews. I found it on Amazon and is the...

Found a small Milwaukee M12 charger to pack in my tool bag. Pick shows it compared when separate and with battery installed. It can also can be used as a power pack to recharge phones etc. It’s pretty slow, but changed a 2 amp hour battery in about 2 hours. It uses a charging brick with usb c...

The Daddy will you fix my....Tool Kit

Thanks for the suggestions. I meant to include a tubing cutter and forgot, in there now. I’m still on the bubble for tin snips, but really like the ones you posted. I have a tube of lithium grease and nail sets that weren’t posted before. I will probably add a small crows foot / pry bar as soon...

The Daddy will you fix my....Tool Kit

Allow me to address some of the issues raised. I would rather work on a project than sit around the house so I don’t mind helping out where I can. First, daughter #1 has no interest in anything mechanical… fortunately son in law #1 is a great guy who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty or try...

Bag and all came in at 30.5 lbs. I would love to get it to 25, but it’s manageable since I’m not carrying it around everyday.

I've got an ICON light in there, but have my eye on a Klein work light I like. Thanks for the lead on the taps, I probably don't need for them, but I can see where they would be very handy and easy.

One of the son in laws is actually quite handy and has an okay collection of tools, if you can find them. On the other hand, the second son in law has few tools and no interest in anything mechanical or the desire to learn. My daughter can do much more than him.

The Daddy will you fix my....Tool Kit

We live over six hours away from our two adult daughters. While visiting I'm always asked if I can fix something and more often than not I don't have the tools I need to do it easily. When I know what I'll be working on I was always gathering what tools I might need into a small bag and...

What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

Picked this up from AMZ a couple of months ago to consolidate chargers and tools in one place. Even has a plug strip for chargers. And yes it is attached to a timer.
