    Removing a few Racedeck tiles

Thanks Jorgen, I will check out the video on removing the tiles. The post will be part of the Maxjax 2 post portable lift. With this lift, you drill the holes in the concrete and then the post can be installed or removed and rolled away for storage. Guess what I was asking is if anyone else...

    Removing a few Racedeck tiles

Thinking of getting a MaxJax lift for my garage. Currently have a Racedeck floor so assume I need to remove a few tiles from the floor and drill my holes for the posts. Anyone done this, how did you finish it to look good? How do you pop these tiles out of the middle of the floor? Thanks!

1969 Mustang Mach One Clone- Please Appraise for Me (pics)

I say for 5K, do it. Agree with others that say get it safely on the road and have fun with it. Later if you decide to do a full restoration you can. Also, look for a body buck tag under the hood, some good information there. Build sheets are great but I'm guessing it's long gone. Color...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Yeah, I think you are right. Perfect place to store my growing Plomb collection. I actually use my Plomb tools, most of which came from my grandfather. Used them just this weekend while pulling the engine out of my 70 Mach I.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here is my Plomb 9980 toolbox. Picked this up a few weeks ago off eBay. Have not done anything with it yet but it seems to be in great shape. There is a large spot of paint on the top and someone has added a long hinge for the lid, did a decent job with it and works well. The paint is nice...

Vintage First Ever Snap-On Socket Set

Hey this was a fun thread to read! Silly, but fun. I can't afford any SO tools myself but would take 50K of their stuff in a second! That would be like an entire top box full of tools, right? :bounce:

    General Mechanic's Tool Kit

Hey, why so defensive, relax! My way of saying that I've been in the Army and involved with maintenance for 30 years and have seen a case or two of soldiers and civilians selling government property, wouldn't be the first time. But if you say that's not the case, OK, we all believe you...

    General Mechanic's Tool Kit

That is the latest version of the General Mechanics tool set. Buying something like this from a soldier? He bought it with his own money? Um, OK, if that is what you want to believe, it's your tax dollars too. But hey, if you want the very best, see if he can get you a SATS, Standard...

    RaceDeck flooring Advise needed

Yeah, I don't get it either. So you call and find out some more information than what is posted on the web site. Big deal. You expect them to put every possible detail that someone would ask about on a web site? How you figure this is a question of honesty eludes me. Where else can you find...

    Plomb toolbox sticker

I think it is original but as I said, the box has not been delivered yet. The overall condition of the box is so good that I believe it is not a repo sticker. Here are some more pics. Some of you might remember that I am one of those guys who likes to restore toolboxes, I think I will have to...

    Plomb toolbox sticker

I recently bought a Plomb 9980 toolbox on eBay. Haven't got the box yet but it appears to be in great shape from the pictures. There is a sticker on the inside that also looks great for it's age. Couple of questions. Do you think it is original? Can you tell the year of the box by the...
