19mm is the biggest stubby i have in metric after that standard wrenches will work for both. The two biggest stubby wrenches I have is a Snap On 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 mainly for hydraulic lines after they are broke loose or running the fitting up until it needs tightened.
I have both and break both equally it seems. I go through a lot of 1/2 drive 15/16 and 1 3/16 impact swivel sockets so much so that I have two of each. Then I have two 1/2 drive universal impact adapter for the same reason. This is were I am glad I spent the money on Snap On because the warranty...
I get mine from Caterpillar. They are pre built Y's and come assembled with a deutsch pin and two sockets. I cut them off and put what I need on. You can get them in various gauges and colors I believe although I usually only get yellow 16 gauge. I haven't been able to find the OM on the Y's so...
I have the 1/4 and 3/8 fuel ratchets and have been impressed running them on the 6.0 batteries. Comparing the 3/8 fuel to my 3/8 14.4 Snap On I notice a slight amount of more torque on the Milwaukee but not much. I like both equally but if someone was looking for one I would steer them towards...
I bought a 3/8 flex head tuff1 ratchet a few years ago. I opened the package and seen it had a pin in the flex joint instead if a screw and the head was floppy as I've ever seen, its been in my junk tools box ever since. If it had a way to tighten the head it would be in my tool box at work as...
Our tool crib has three of them and has had them since the beginning of time. They are great impacts. You can still get parts for them. We have to send one of them in for rebuild about once every two years on average. We run 1/2 hose with 90-100 psi at the gun and they seem to do well for the...
Just depends on what the job is. I have split beam, clicker, dial and digital. I use digital 90% of the time. Use a dial for checking rolling torque. and the rest of the small fasteners and fittings I would touch during rebuilds I use one of my inch pound clickers. My split beam doesn't see much...
Used Mac Tools 3/8's ratchet XR1890FPA. This is the 18 inch handle version. Been using this since they came out so the chrome isnt perfect and the handle has scratches in the plastic. Upgraded to the Snap On ratchet when it came out. Would do 90.00 shipped. Link to the ratchet on Macs website...
