Yes you're right. I thought of that and have done it but part of the question was did anybody make a set in SAE. I looked all over and couldn't find any. Gearwrench makes a nice set in metric and I couldn't believe they didn't make a standard set too. As long as KnurledNut found...

I would just like the convenience of a set. I looked into the Steelman set. They only offer a couple of SAE sizes. Not a full set. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Does anybody make long extension swivel sockets in sae? I can find them in metric but not standard sizes.

I've got a Jawhorse. It sets up easily. If you work by yourself it's a great third hand. I wouldn't be without it. It's the best thing I've found for working on motorcycle front ends. it holds front tubes securely without any damage.
