And I run a Oregon 91 VXL chain, its not a safety chain that you buy at the box stores so it actually works.
Get a Echo CS400 and do the muffler mod, tune the carb and get a chisel chain and you will have a nice saw that runs better than most anything in the $400 and under price range. I'm a "homeowner" and use my saw on a weekly basis and its light, fast and cuts better than my overpriced Stihl saws...
I have a old range that will be used for powder coating that is 3 wire and my 220 power is 4 wire. Right now I have wire ran to a empty box and want to hook it up.
Here is my question - Can I use the old 3 wire range power cord and get a 3 wire outlet hook up the power and neutral and not use...
I have a HF nearby but it's a sears "5"hp so its really a 3hp unit (15amp motor) and initially i was looking at just replacing the pump with the 5hp rated HF unit but it won't work for my needs. I am thinking I could still use the 60gal tank and plumb it into the new unit. Hmmm....
I need a new air compressor for running mainly my blast cabinet and want to spend $1500 or less and get the best one for the money. I want quality over cost.
Right now I have a old craftsman 2 stage 10cfm and the pump is on it's way out, I'm buying new and I really need at least 15cfm...
Looks like unless it's industrial grade it's not worth rebuilding these little pumps. I'm not sure if the HF 3hp rated replacement pump is what I really need for blasting, might just **** it up and buy a whole new unit that's at least 15cfm and a actual 5hp motor.
I don't think I was really clear, I'm needing the air pump, the motor is fine. With the current motor rating I have (I think they are over rated from Craftsman) could I get away with the bigger Harbor Freight air pump for 5hp motors or get the smaller one rated for 3hp motors?
I need some info here about my craftsman air compressor. The pump is bad (knocks at low psi and takes a long time to build pressure) and needs replacing but need to know which one to get.
Specs:
