If you are in Denver Colorado take a look at ALRICO. They are near Brighton and have semi trailers full of tubing and all the diamond tread plate in different thicknesses you will ever see in their warehouses.
Pengeboy... I have the exact same drill press that you have. I took a look at the way the motor was wired and here it is. I assume the motor leads are still numbered on your motor.
For 110 v the wires 2,4 & 6 are tied together and attached to one side of the 110 v power. The other wires 1,3...
CSP & HotWire... How did you work around the cylinder area difference between the bore diameter and the rod diameter end? The volume of oil is different between the top of the cylinder and the bottom of the cylinder. When you stroke the cylinder to fully extend and back to fully retracted does...
Search this forum for a DYI 4 post storage lift. The guy goes by Akdiesel. He made it out of Unistrut, some cable and a winch. He has his snowmobile and other stuff on it.
I've used anode bags to protect natural gas lines in the ground. Attach the anode wire to the pipe and set it a foot or two from the pipe in the ground, cover it up and your set to go. The soil is enough of a conductor to create the corrosion protection of the pipe. It might work if the...
How about taking a piece of 11ga sheet metal and rolling it to fit the bore. It is only .002" thicker after rolling it to fit and that might make up the the problem with the messed up hole. Something to think about.
I don't know what you are going to do with a QD hub but I can give you an idea of what the numbers mean. The JA hub is a specific size of hub that is the smallest of the set of hubs available. The flange diameter is 2-1/16" with a maximum bore of 1-1/4". This hub is a tapered hub that fits...
Can you limit the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder that the cables are attached to so as to not go any higher than you need? This would work only on a four poster lift that uses a single cylinder and cables to lift from.
