Lawnmower/Snowblower lift?

Being that my garage is 14 x 20 and I just picked up a snowblower (driveway is about 125 feet) I would like to be able to stack the snowblower over the lawnmower, and of course switch for the appropriate season.
Has anyone made a small lift they can share pictures of ? I saw an earlier post of someone that used a cable winch to store his van, I'm thinking of maybe a copy of that, but still would like to see what others came up with.
THANKS ALL !!

Search this forum for a DYI 4 post storage lift. The guy goes by Akdiesel. He made it out of Unistrut, some cable and a winch. He has his snowmobile and other stuff on it.

I found this pic recently...this is not my setup, though.

I really don't know what they used to get their snowblower up there. Perhaps a set of long ATV ramps would do the trick?

The push mower would be a heck of a lot easier to lift up there in the off-season than would the snowblower, for sure!

I'd rather lift a lawnmower than a snow blower... :lol_hitti

Think out "out of season" storage. My snow blower is taking up prime real estate (floorspace) in my shed. I have a lawn tractor, a push mower and a spare generator vying for space in my shed along with 3 bikes overhead and a bunch of lumber stood up in the corner.

A shelf to get the snowblower off the floor with lawn mower parking underneath would be good. Swapping to mower for the blower spring and fall would be manageable.

I do actually get that. I was mostly kidding. My generator, snow blower, leaf blower and lawn mower are all on the floor of my shed. The mower only comes out to mow. The snow blower gets moved to the garage in late fall. The generator only gets moved about 2', plugged in to an outlet outside the shed and is run inside along with a gable exhaust fan.

You could knock together a simple wooden platform as above and then use a chain fall or something similar to lift the snow blower. Pretty cheap and easy, really.

Personally, I'd look into some way of dealing with the melted snow from the snow blower and size it to suit; maybe one of those trays meant to go under a washer or water heater just in case it leaks, or some open patio bricks or something.
