Running PVC to garage what all should I put in there?

And what's the point of your comment? "Voltage doesn't kill you, current does"... :wtf:

Oh yeah, right. So when I'm at the supply house Monday, I should ask for a power supply by current instead of voltage? OK, thanks for the tip. Will do.

And both will function perfectly when connected to another device or equipment at 100m, and both will run at 100/1000.

0v ~ 75v/90v is low-voltage according to the code (depending on your locale and specialty). When discussing "Sparkie" voltage (the stuff that will kill you), then 600v is the dividing line.

    watch your stuff!!!

Compare crackheads to business investors. Risk vs. return. Crackhead knows there is a risk in stealing, but he calculates the risk and proceeds or doesn't (fence, dog, etc.). A business investor works exactly the same way before purchasing stock...calculates the risk (economy, strength of...

Name callers? :wtf: I just went back and re-read all my posts...didn't say "******" in any of them. The only thing that's going to "hurt" is the mo-fo that I catch breaking into my shop after catching one of these in his head:

    Preparing to do some trenching

Depends on the trencher, the ground and the depth. Fire that sucker up and start digging. You'll know pretty quickly how it's going to go. I've done jobs before where it took longer to pick up/deliver the trencher than it did to do the job itself.

Stop right there! You see, in Girly-Man Land (California), the law states you have a "duty to retreat". You cannot leave the safety of your home (armed) and confront someone. You have to cower inside your home, hiding in the bathroom while crying to the 9-1-1 dispatcher and hope/wish that the...

    watch your stuff!!!

You're assuming I'm Christian and reasonable. I am neither. I don't want to kill someone for thievery, I want to kill them for being a dirt-bag. Their thievery just gives me an excuse. :gunfire: As more people get fed up with "dirt-baggery", I believe we'll see more public "executions", and I...

OMG...I give up. :( No offense, but you are talking out of your ********, dude. Networking equipment isn't rated to anything less than the standard. There is no networking equipment, now or "then", that is rated to connect at a distance less than 100m. None. Hell, even 10BaseT equipment was...

Running PVC to garage what all should I put in there?

Sigh, again you're wrong. There is no standards distinction between "commercial" and "residential" equipment. Some equipment is marketed as "enterprise" and some is marketed as "residential/consumer", but they all work on ethernet up to 100m (and even further in some situations).

Where is this special gear they sell only to the general public? Do they have a secret store for networking equipment that's doesn't meet IEEE standards? Please post a link to this non-industry standard equipment. I'd love to see it. And don't get me started on "cable company techs"...there's a...

Here in FLA, I can shoot and I will shoot. Even a dirtbag can understand: Don't break into my shop & you live. What happens when OP goes outside and stumbles upon the guy burglarizing his shed? The burglar easily has the upper hand. Or should he just cower inside, call the police and hope that...

Cat6 is not shielded, unless you purchase shielded Cat6. It's for interference in specific applications. Underground conduit is not one of them. If anything, one should be running "direct-bury" cable, as underground conduit typically/eventually fills with water.
