Is this SO box worth $250?

Buy it quick! It'll clean up nice. And enjoy it.

    My Wilton find

Thank you. Rustoleum Hammered Verde Green. For the lettering I cut a narrow strip from a foam brush and sprayed the silver from a rattle can into its cap and lightly dipped the foam. It just takes a light touch to apply.

    My Wilton find

I just wanted to show my before and after of my 5" Wilton model 1645. I found it at a flea market for $100. Some may say I paid too much. I kinda think I may have, but it was in great mechanical condition and suits my needs.

    Huge Wilton bullet score.

I think you did just fine especially sine you found a base. There seems to be some vise snobs.

    SNAP ON Inheritance

I recently started buying old and not so old used tools here and there on Ebay for my personal use. Like you said, they are going to a good home. I like to think I make a connection with the previous owner whenever I pick them up or use them. My tools will be going to my son someday and I like...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

'My 4" Craftsman I bought new (made in Japan) from late '70's or early '80's and 4" Prentiss Bulldog that I picked up at a vintage flea market last year. Both with recent repaints. I love Rust-oleum Safety Red. The brass tag on the Prentiss says US Govt. Prop. and Calif. Ship Corp. The man I...

The date stamped on it is '76. I think I bought it early '77.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Here is my Craftsman rollaway I bought new in '76. I didn't want to see it leave the family and I had outgrown it a while ago. I just passed it down to my son. The small Craftsman box was my first box I bought when I was sixteen, 1971. I keep my welding gear in it now.

    Value of Snap On KR650?

Thanks guys. I ended paying $800 for the top. More than I would have liked, but I wasn't finding anything. I'll be selling my 4 year old Craftsman so that will help offset the price (a little bit). I really appreciate the quality of these and that they will be around for a long time. The roller...
