Chrysler special dipstick for trans fluid

Is there no special technique like Cobalt's automatic transmissions? On that car, there is a drain plug on the side of the trans, it's above the drain plug a ways up. You start it, leave it in park, remove the plug mentioned. Then slowly pour ATF through the filler neck until fluid seeps out...

    1/2" Ratchet usage

pretty much... I also have a 17 and 24, they're both free floating flex heads with comfort grip handles. They were very useful when I did alignments. I rarely ever use them now but I'm definitely keeping them around. I say get a 17 and 24. comfort handles and flex heads. I think snap on's...

    Cloth tape?

I like getting Mercedes in the shop that have headrests deployed, remove the blown headrests and clip the wire harness, and there you have 2 good lengths of valuable coroplast fleece tape. seems like VW and Mercedes use the really good stuff. BMW is a different story.

    Cloth tape?

http://www.tesatape.com/industry/automotive/bundling Tesa tape is good. Coroplast is also very nice, somewhat difficult to find.

    Any recommendations of torx screwdrivers?

I got a good deal on my Wiha power handle set 8PC T6-T30, very comfortable handles, the shaft lengths and handle sizes are unique to the tip size, unfortunately, no hex bolstered shafts. When I realize I need a T40 driver I will buy one with a hex bolstered shaft.

A list to help the young techs out there

I've gone this route lately. I have started buying tools off Amazon.com. Wiha screwdrivers, Wera bit sets, Knipex pliers, IR air tools, and VIM bit sockets, all well under retail prices you will have to pay on the tool truck or local store. With a prime account, you get free 2 day shipping on...

How often do you use flathead screwdrivers?

More often than Torx and Phillips/Pozidriv drivers combined. Usually for prying(mostly clips) more than using on fasteners. I only feel comfortable driving flat heads by hand. I agree about phillips screws. Pozidrivs are just as bad if not worse. I like torx and flat heads, though.

Does your tool dealer bash the other brands?

Not really, between my snap on and mac guy- they can appreciate good tools/values. I often catch the Mac guy admiring my snap on tools/box. He's more of a tool enthusiast than a loyal Mac user, I introduced him to my Wera rapidaptor set a few weeks ago. He fell in love with it and is now going...

    Wobble extensions?

I didn't know mac made those. They sound like snap on's wobble plus. I have a 3/8 and 1/4 set, very handy. Much better than regular wobble extensions if you ask me.

    US Made Tire Pressure Gauge?

Your link doesn't work. I'm guessing its the TGIFS1. If it is, I can tell you that I didn't like it. If you are not looking at the sight glass perfectly straight on, the reading will be a few pounds off. A few pounds is enough for me to decide I don't like it. I would prefer digital.
