You can run the house off the 50 and the spa off the 30. If I read you right, the spa is currently running off a 20 amp circuit anyhow. I run two panels off the two 240 outputs on mine every time we run out of power. It works fine, just don't overload the generator and you will be just fine...

Some nailers that take clipped nails can run offset heads instead. You get the code compliance of a full head (since it is one), with the angle and size of the clipped head nail. For example, both the Pasload and Dewalt cordless models can run offset head nails.

Regarding the "watering enough", some people literally flood it. My understanding is that you want it actually wet all the time for a month or so... Not wettened at some interval. That way you know it can't get dried out, which is what you want to avoid at (almost) all costs.

Check out Zip Systems R-Sheathing. I'm dried in with my new barn/garage using that and the whole experience has been great. The price really wasn't bad when you realize you bought the OSB and foam and TyVek all at once, and then put them up almost as easily as just putting up the OSB alone...

I'm using it and really like the result. The barn was dried in quickly, killed the thermal coupling, and really isn't expensive given that you just installed sheathing/insulation/wrap all at once.
