I've been pretty happy with it, doesn't leak and it doesn't pop off. Made my Astro inflator a lot less frustrating to use. Some valve stems might be more finicky to get a good connection, but once it's on there it stays on way better than anything else I've found.
Maybe it's not a big problem...
I've put up miles of the white PVC trim, you just can't beat the Cortex or Pro-plug hidden fasteners. They drive below the surface and create their own hole for the included plugs. Once you drive the plug in the screw practically disappears. You can get them in smooth or woodgrain to match the...
What batteries are you using with your recip saw?
I have two of the older dewalt 20v reciprocating saws, both are brush models probably approaching 8-10 years old now. The recip saw is the one tool I've never even thought that I really felt needed the advantage enough to upgrade to brushless...
I exchanged my grandfathers oxy/acetylene tanks just a couple years ago, last test date was from the early 80s. The oxy bottle was slightly smaller and the acetylene tank looked obviously old, with an odd shape and different kind of cap. Took them to a local welding supply I use and they...
Dewalt makes a 20v ratchet as well as the 12v. Dewalt also builds a 20v version under the Craftsman brand, since both are owned by Stanley B&D.
No, the old Mac ratchet is not the same. But, Mac tools is owned by Stanley Black and Decker, just like Dewalt and Craftsman. The Mac ratchet with the...
Seems to work well, haven't used it a ton yet but I'm more than happy with it so far. I've had the extended version ordered since Feb but picked up the standard length 3/8 last week since it was in stock. They also had a 20v on the shelf, but I wasn't into it due to the larger size. I already...
Do you need socket retention?
If you don't, the Westling machine trays work great for organizing sockets in your box. Not so much if you want to throw a whole set in a go bag though. They're 100% billet aluminum, you can get them with or without size markings. The billet pins hold sockets...
Don't own one but watched a ton of video reviews after seeing them on Larson Farms youtube channel, they recently bought one at the farm show. There's many reviews on the stor-loc site as well as Youtube. They appear to be extremely well made and claim one hundred percent US made in Kankakee...
Unlike the older chamberlain/liftmaster openers that used mechanical limit and force adjustments, most newer models are done all electronically. Not so simple as just cranking up the force like the old days. Here's a link to the manual.
Force is supposed to be calibrated at the end of setting...
Early 2011 when I got my first 20v drill/driver kit, so it's over eleven years ago now....... and I'm still using those 11+ year old batteries!
Imagine how many people would be all PO'd when they ordered a new 18v battery or tool only to find that was not compatible with their tools. No way...
Once the panel is kinked the strength and rigidity is pretty much gone. You can add 16' garage door struts on the back side of each panel to regain some rigidity, it's going to take minimum one near the top of each panel and one both top and bottom of the lower panel. The struts aren't real...
Very unlikely that it's a true 7.5 HP motor. Many manufacturers will way over state their HP rating and use the language "develops 7.5 hp" or something like that.
Any true 7.5HP motor would require near 40 amps at 230 volt, check the ratings plate on the motor to be sure. From what I search...
Obviously that ethernet cable is run through the wall to the opener. Looks like they've only used the orange and orange/white wires for the sensors. The white and black terminals on the far right are for the sensor terminals. White to white the wire with the black strip goes to the black...
OK, still can't maintain 120 psi line pressure with a compressor that is only capable of producing 120 psi, but cycles down to 90, 100 or even 110. Narrowing the differential too much only makes the compressor short cycle unless you add additional or upgrade tanks. Most people aren't going to be...
Not sure what you're talking about. You can't maintain a constant PSI if the compressor cycles 30 psi below desired pressure. Bigger tank is no help, it is still going to fall to 90 psi before the compressor kicks on, it just takes longer. Adjusting the pressure switch changes both the cut in...
