Update guys! I bought a duck active Carhartt with a hood. I'm loving it. I also bought a Wolverine Durant Steel Toes. They are comfy but durable. Now I need a durable pair of work gloves. Thinking of Mechanix Wear originals.

That is definitely a concern of mine. That's why I'm thinking of not going with the arctic lined.

I keep seeing some say that do NOT get the arctic one but to get the flannel lining or "duck active" one. Simply because they say the arctic one is too hot to work in.

I wont be welding, not for a long while anyway. Just pretty much has to stand up against the wind, rain, cold and snow. This has been the longest most miserable winter the Chicagoland has seen in quite sometime. I just want to be prepared.

The Pittsburgh Keen boots are looking pretty good to me. Nice reviews as well.

For boots, I wear a size 11 or 12, depends on the company from what I've seen. I'm really liking the Pittsburgh Keen boots though. The reviews are good and they seem to last. They look comfortable too.

Maybe get one of each, one arctic and one normal lined.
