I too have limited floor space in my shop and needed a mill. I went cheap and bought a well used Jet JMD-18 (Rong Fu clone). Whereas it's done everything I've required, that it's a round column mill is annoying. Too often when switching from a milling to a drill/tap operation on the...
The original and all replacements were Condor brand and marked "MDR 11/11EA". The only difference was the red knob on the original was a bit different. Apparently that model # covers a variety of switches and some are not rated for 5hp.
No, the compressor doesn't have a magnetic starter, nor did it when I purchased it (used) about 20 years ago. The original pressure switch that failed about this time last year was nearly identical to the 2 that have been installed since.
Can anyone suggest a better air compressor pressure switch that this?

I replaced the switch on my (5hp, 60gal Husky single stage) compressor 3 times in the last year and the one I installed on 6/6/26 failed yesterday.

If possible, please share the link for the video. I have the same HF 20T press that's leaking too.
And for the OP, I have an HF motorcycle lift table that the pump seemed to have failed. It turned out to be a speck of metal grit on the sealing surface of the let-down valve. I carefully...
The software we use for the waterjets at work (IGEMS) will create efficient nesting of parts, but you have to provide all the CAD files of the separate parts and tell the software what size material you are starting with. Before we got out 1st waterjet, we outsourced locally and I had to...
Thanks for the compliments. I'm not too worried about if/when I add new tools. The drawer insert is only about $6 in materials, and I'm a CAD guy, so I enjoy doing stuff like this. I might have 3 hours between measuring, CAD layout and running the laser.
I've got the drawing done...
I made this woodworking workbench back in '94 and have made multiple upgrades and added storage solutions to it over the years. Despite it being originally built for "woodworking" I've not used it for such for at least 16 years.
The workbench is big (42"x84") and is the workshop...
Here's a fun little project that should prove to be a nice upgrade.
My 3/8" drive socket drawer has been an annoying mess for far too long. There are too many duplicate sockets and handles I don't use. Also, because its been so disorganized, it takes too long to find the needed socket.
I...
Just my opinion, but I would not have as many windows on the 1st level. It limits the usage of wall space and provides access points for potential break-ins.
