Door gasket retainer?

I f'ed up.

I got too aggressive with the rust removal along the bottoms of the TJ half doors and buggered up one of the plastic strips that holds the door gasket. FWIW, the door gaskets are fine.

I'm not finding replacement plastic strips on-line, but I did see where Quadratech offers a replacement gasket that has the arrowhead fasteners built in (https://www.quadratec.com/p/crown-automotive/half-door-seal-wrangler-tj-unlimited).

Is this a viable option for not using the retaining strip?

A bit pricey, but once it is cured, that weather strip will not come off
