    Partially painted concrete garage floor

Not chunks, though I probably wrote it to sound like that. It's more like the paint comes up and along with it almost what might be considered concrete dust. But MAYBE a bit more then that. For all I know when the paint was put down they did a crummy job of cleaning off the concrete. At...

    Partially painted concrete garage floor

Our concrete garage floor is 2/3 painted with some type of paint that isn't great ... or at least is very old. If I stick down some tape on the floor and leave it, a few days later if I pull it up it pulls up the paint with it (haphazardly however, not evenly and it *seems* to pull up some of...

    Tile flooring suggestions.

One more question :) After getting it, how long did it take for it to "roll out" and not curl up at the edges? Did you use anything to stick it down or just use gravity? I put in a note in my calendar to check around black Friday, that's a good idea!

May I ask where you got it for that price?

    Polyaspartic Floor gone wrong?

Don't want to pile on here -- but that curb application looks terrible. Is the floor even smooth? It looks like those flakes would catch stuff like crazy (but perhaps that's only the curb, which doesn't excuse it).

    DIY Concrete Floor Polishing

I just read that article about the BallistiX on All Garage Floors - they said you sent them some samples so they could test it out and it did very well with regard to stains/salt and such. I don't work on the car in the garage much -- just park it mostly (any work is done outside) so would a...

    Refurbishing a concrete floor

What's the difference between a polyaspartic and an epoxy floor, from an end-user point of view? I looked it up and it seems like an offshoot of epoxy, though your picture looks the same as I would expect from epoxy (perhaps a little less shiny)?

    Refurbishing a concrete floor

This is good info, I appreciate it. I will hire it out, I'm doing electrical, plumbing and drywall. But I am wanting a professional to do the floor, otherwise I know it won't turn out the way I want it. I wasn't sure if you could repolish concrete, and didn't want to look like a dolt for...

    Refurbishing a concrete floor

I have a concrete floor in the garage that was poured 30+ years ago (at least). It's held up remarkably well I would think, with some cracks and chips but overall pretty smooth. Except the previous owner painted 2/3rds of it with some gawd awful amber-brown color (the whole garage was brown...

    Spray foam regrets?

Curious as to the reason why you did open cell in the ceiling and closed on the walls ("right thing")? I hadn't heard that. I am planning to do all closed foam (and got a bid for such) but your words have me cautious/curious. I live in a moderate climate (coldest it gets is high 20's - super...
