The stripe is 3' 3.5" from the garage floor (along the back wall). The floor slopes slightly from there.
Pain was in the Behr exterior collection brochure from home depot: Gray is "Iron Wood ECC-33-1" and blue is "Dark Sea ECC-33-3".

Yes, there were a few stains (from water or something else) that the primer did not cover. However, for me they were all on the lower part of the wall. The gray covered it w/o any issues. I was really surprised by how well the Behr exterior paint covered. I only needed 1 coat of the 2 darker...

The position of the stripe was trial and error. I used the 360 laser level to determine where to put it. I didn't want to intersect any outlets or switches. I'll have to measure the height of the gray but the blue...
Painting is done! Other then a issue with some older blue painters tape pulling up the paint underneath (newer "delicate" painters tape was perfect), everything went smoothly.

I built a 14x16x10 and it is a great size. Not too big but a lot better then the small sheds you usually find. I added a second floor for storage too. 10' walls are a good addition over 8' as well.
You will always want bigger, but it is a good size.
