4 Pc Milwaukee M18 Li-Ion tool kit for $275 at Home Depot, some come with a free "bonus" tool, making it a 5 pc kit, in addition, Milwaukee is running a rebate deal where you get another bare cordless tool to go with your kit

I got one with the bonus tool, but the bonus tool was missing, someone had stolen it and returned it I guess, so they gave me another tool from the shelf.

MSC having a discount on hydraulic and pneumatic gear, including compressor stuff. Might be a good time for that auto-drain -- anyone have a recommendation for a really good one offered by MSC?

Take a look - it seems that free shipping is in effect. When I did a test checkout, I was quoted $0.00 freight.

Didn't work for me -- no matter what. I have a 30days net account -- don't know if that changes things.

Hmm, that's a possibility. Maybe you could try opening a consumer account to see if it changes anything?

At no point did MSC knowingly offer free shipping recently though, so I'm thinking it was a glitch or unadvertised bonus.

Maybe you got the same account "glitch" as me... :)

If it doesn't quote you freight, it is free.

BTW, today only save 40% off all orders over $249. Promo code WEB40.

I sure hope so, but when I checked a week ago, I was being charged freight. Go figure.

40% off orders over $249 excluding hand sanitizer and respirators. $249 seems a bit high. I suppsoe that a so-so promotion is still better than no discount.

Went to Lowe's today and they had a Dewalt portable bandsaw (kinda like Milwaukee's Portaband) on closeout for $209. Regular price was $299. Seemed like a pretty good price. I don't know much about the Dewalt version but I routinely see abused Milwaukee's for more than that on CL.

Yikes it's been a while since I updated the 1st post. I'll do some cleaning up later.

Anyways, I added a link to today's TG post that discusses the $20 Gearwrench socket sets.

I just got the Craftsman Pro flare nut wrench sets, 5pc Metric & 5pc SAE for $35.18+tax

Here's a disclaimer, these are only available for in store pickup. None available for shipping right now

Here's the steps, be sure you have your Craftsman Club member number in your profile before starting:

1: go to Sears.com

2: add the metric set to your cart

3: apply code SDEALS817, you won't see anything in your cart yet

4: add the standard set

5: sit back, relax, and see your total go to $35.18 + tax

Saw your post on FW on this. Good deal. Looks like any item on sale will stack with the Craftsman Club discount as well. Potential good deals for other items later in the month.

yeah, i did a little cut and paste from FW over to here....most of my deals on FW are tool deals.

I almost don't want to buy anything yet, because the month is just getting started....should be a good time :)

FYI sears is currently offering a free $10 gift card when you buy a $50 gift card for today and tomorrow. Effectively it is an additional 16% off at sears.

From what Ive been told Cycle Cat is no longer in business and is selling off everything at discount prices. Some of it is being sold through oncycles.com. I just picked up a billet Ducati pressure plate for $72 (normally $225) as well as rear sets for $300 (normally $550). Buying this bike "bling" is cutting into my tool money but what can you do??? ;)

Had a need the other day for a pass-thru socket set, something I rarely need but it could have saved a lot of time that particular day. Ran across this set at Harbor Freight on sale in-store for $19.99 (good through 5/11, I believe)and with the 20% coupon it is only $15.99. Made in Tawain, lifetime warranty, and seems to be pretty decent for the money:
