I bought a Pittsburgh torque wrench....yeah I know....but only for lugs, I do not intend to use it ever on anything precision. It says plus or minus 4 percent, which of course I can live with, but how would I ever have this checked or get this tool recalibrated? Is there anyplace you guys recommend?
Yes I am confused...lol Where would be the best place to look at a set of SK long pattern and Williams Supercombos?
I need to get a new set of metric wrenches and am comparing these to see what I may want. I am replacing a set of Snap-On Flank drive I bought when I was younger that were stolen.
Is the SuperChrome the brand designation for their long pattern wrenches or is that their standard size?
The JH Williams wrenches that resemble that Snap-On Flank Drive, are those a long wrench or standard?
Thanks in advance for any answers
I have a 3/8" snap on ratchet that was put out with dale Earnhardt senior's sig on the blue handle....all this talk about teeth in ratchets, does anyone know how many teeth a ratchet like this would have and the stupid question is it single or double pawl?:dunno: Curious
I think of 09 tool steel when I hear carbon steel...but not sure that is what everyone would equate...there is 1056 and so many others....I am just used to seeing chrome vanadium in even cheaper old style craftsman. So much is in the heat treating, I am sure, as with most steel
I would love to try the Hitachi....I can get the driver body only for twenty dollars less than the full Ryobi gun/charger package.....but I am gonna feel mighty stupid if it wont work at all. If I had to hand break a few lugs it would not kill me.
I agree that air is the way to go....but no...
Thanks...I know there is also searchable info on the site, but have found some of it dated....anyone with recent experience trying to make a choice like this? Or am I looking pretty much at apples and oranges trying to make this decision? I know my question was not worded exceptionally well, so...
Going on a budget...salvaged my 18v NiCad Craftsman impact with Sioux style charger from divorce....but she threw out my charger and one of the batteries with a bunch of my other tools in divorce. Cannot find a charger anywhere...yup tried sears and all that.
Question is....the Ryobi impact for...
Posted in free parking accidentally...sorry:sad:
Hey guys...newbie here. Went through a nasty divorce and had the majority of my tools magically disappear...so I am re-tooling...plenty of questions!
