Is the SuperChrome the brand designation for their long pattern wrenches or is that their standard size?

The JH Williams wrenches that resemble that Snap-On Flank Drive, are those a long wrench or standard?

The Williams SUPERCOMBO combination wrenches are the same length as Snap-on's standard length combination wrenches. But......Snap-on's standard length combination wrenches are long pattern.

SK calls their chrome "SuperChrome". They have both standard and long pattern wrenches. I own the long pattern and they are great. I'm not familiar with the Williams wrench set so I will let someone else answer that.

SK uses Superchrome as the name for their chrome plating.

Williams uses Supercombo as the name for their combo wrenches.

Yes, there is some confusion here. Not all Williams combination wrenches are Supercombos.
The Williams Supercombo combination wrenches feature a modified open end that has specially designed grooves that direct wrench force away from fastener corners.
The Supercombo boxed end also features what Williams calls "Supertorque" which is a modified boxed end that provides for off corner engagement on the flats of the fastener.
Lastly Williams Supercombo wrenches are US made.

Now Williams also makes a line of Taiwan made satin finished combination wrenches that don't have the modified open end or off corner engagement boxed end.
Just remember that not all Williams combination wrenches are Supercombos.

Yes I am confused...lol Where would be the best place to look at a set of SK long pattern and Williams Supercombos?

I need to get a new set of metric wrenches and am comparing these to see what I may want. I am replacing a set of Snap-On Flank drive I bought when I was younger that were stolen.

Get the Williams Supercombos. They grip like crazy, and I've been thinking about replacing my Snap-On SAE set with Supercombos. Got mine on Amazon.

But, since the OP was mixing up wrenches with "super" in the name, he was clearly talking about the Williams Supercombo wrenches.
