Looking for a wood hole saw kit. I've looked around online and it just doesn't seem like there are any out there besides the cheap HF type kits.
I bought the HF one to give it a try, but it's junk. I know there are the bi-metal kits but those get really pricey because i need the larger sizes...
Browsing for some possible laminate for workbench top, found this and a couple others. For 50c a foot, can't go wrong. Picked up another pack of the tie down straps that was sitting on back shelf in clearance.

From what I have read it has a much smaller rear clearance compared to other sliding miters.

Well I sold my dewalt today. After all the great input, i decided to go with the makita. Part of me wants to Amazon prime it, its like 30 bucks cheaper and will be here way quicker then HD shipping; if I ship to store/ home from HD easy returns and customer service.
That festool is sure nice...
I was thinking about picking up those screwdrivers as well. I'm trying to slowly start filling out my tools, trying not to buy junk i have to replace later but I don't need top of the line either.

Well I took a look at the 1x3 cedar I have. Sadly it's rough cut and random sizes, varies from 3/4 to 1" thick and 2.5-3.25" wide. I will end up just using it for my fence. Will probably head to HD tomorrow and grab some 2x4s to rip.

Making some more progress. Thought about skipping pegboard under the cabinets but decided adding some extra support for them would be a good bonus since the pegboard would need a spacer anyway.
Need to drill some holes in the cabinet on the right side to run my Ethernet and power cables so my...
If I could buy a new one, that looks like it could be a good option.
Think I'm narrowing it down to the Bosch and hitachi saws.

That's interesting. My store just added a computer, it's in the front part between the power tool and other tool aisles.
Second one at the pro desk with a small desk for people to use.

There is about 9' to the left of where the blade would sit, and 5.5' to the right. This would be a dedicated miter saw table and will have a stop track system.
I've thought about the portable rolling bench but I have the space for something permanent and like the dust collection aspect it...
No, just checked that out after you guys mentioned it. It looks promising, going to try and check some out in person. The depth that the saws list are tricky because I just need to know the depth from the fence to the back of the saw.
