I think my garage door is sticking to the seal

The door faces west and it cooks all day long. The seal is soft enough to seal, but it does look weathered. I believe it's the top and sides mostly and not the bottom seal. No paint on the floor.

I think my garage door is sticking to the seal

This is a 2 car garage with a sectional door. When the door is raised, it does open, but with a noise. My guess the seal is sticking to the surface where it touches the door and the shearing that occurs is the noise I hear. This happens less if the door has been recently opened. I have felt the...

bathroom sink - ****** threads in bad shape - options?

The Fernco was a great find as I had no room to swing a pipe wrench big enough to maybe break loose a 40 plus year old connection. So far, no leaks and would do it again as needed elsewhere in my home.

bathroom sink - ****** threads in bad shape - options?

Found myself in a similar spot. Messed up threads and the fitting was not likely to budge (didn't try) found a rubber sleeve at the box store that clamps on to the stub and the trap. Easy peasy. These come in assorted sizes and shapes. Good luck.

What knife are you carrying today?

Recently changed my knife choice to the Gerber Prybrid. Use the heck out of it. It's the second utility knife bladed pocket knife I've carried as I am not nice to blades and I appreciate a sharp edge when needed. It came with a clip which I removed instantly but for what I need a knife for, it...

Black and decker weed eater finally died, what should I get next?

That old shaft that fits the new trimmer now has a brush blade kit on it. Almost like a miter saw on a stick. Should do the trick.

Black and decker weed eater finally died, what should I get next?

Got the Ryobi 40V. Was expecting it to be a disappointment but it's a beast. Realized later my old gas trimmer that was no longer fixable was a Ryobi and the shaft attachment fit the 40V. No more fuel treatment, always runs, can sit in the shed for a year and will run with a fresh battery. No...

    Oil resistant spray bottle

There is a white and blue spray bottle with WD40 printed on it on Amazon. Material stated is PTFE which might hold up to solvent and oil better than milk bottle plastic.

    Drain old compressor?

FWIW, I have a similar Craftsman compressor (that I rarely drain to be honest). My biggest issue is broken connecting rod/piston assemblies.

    Drain old compressor?

Try and make it right. The alternative could be a surprise you don't need

    Plastic Fuel tank Repair

There are plastic repair kits available, they come with a mixed bag of success. I did read that there are no more available, but I betcha you could find something close enough to work. Maybe used on ePay.
