    Kaeser or Atlas Copco compressor

Got a Kaeser SM12 Aircenter. Very silent compared to the piston I have. Can definitely talk to someone while standing beside it. The menues of the Sigma Control 2 are crazy advanced for the use I have though.

    Kaeser or Atlas Copco compressor

Both include a dryer, but I am not sure if the copco includes an air tank. It is for a 1 man business: All sorts or air tools + maybe a CNC lathe sooner or later.

    Kaeser or Atlas Copco compressor

I am looking for a new compressor to replace my 7,5hp piston-type. I am looking for a 10hp screw compressor with dryer. The ones I have gotten a price on is Kaeser SM10 Aircenter and an Atlas Copco GA-7. I have no idea which one is better so give me your input.

Let's Hear Your: "Tools I Found in the Junkyard/Road" Etc.

While bicycling: The year before last: Spotted what I thought was a deep 1/2" impact socket, which I did not need so my brother picked it up: Very nice heavy duty LED flashlight. This week: Other bike friend spots a combo wrench on the road. We turn around and he picks it up: 8mm Stahlwille...

    Image resizing

Some member post pictures the size of Texas and it makes the thread they're in close to useless. Hope you can find a way to do the automatic image resizing.. Works on most other forums I've seen.

    Garage build thread.

Got some more storage. It was badly needed as tooling for the lathe and milling machine had started accumulating on the floor again. The top drawer has Lista dividers for drills. Made it very tidy ! I'll take some pictures of the drawers later. I see that I have bypassed a few things I have...

Here's the compressor end. I will take a few pictures of the rest later.

    RapidAir "MaxLine" installation

My maxline system had no leaks either. Kind of surprised me, but very happy with it. I installed 1/2" couplings and flexible hoses from the tank to the water separator (1/2" separator too), and everything has much smaller inner diameter than the blue maxline lines themselves. But I imagine the...

    RapidAir "MaxLine" installation

I am installing a 3/4" maxline system now too. I run 3/4" in the drops too, mainly because I thought it was easier to order that way. Even with shipping from the US it was almost half the price of copper tubing over here. It is pretty easy to put up. I used clips every 50cm and it looks pretty...

    1" Impact Wrenches

I doubt you will have any issues with the compressor. The big impact guns use less air than random orbital sanders for example, and you're not running an impact gun 100% of the time, like a sander.

heating my shop with used motor oil

What is the air consumption on your setups Sewerzuk ? I saw somewhere else that a 20 gallon air compressor would run every 20-30 minutes to fill up again..

Snap on now requires receipts to get warranty replacement

With the prices Snap-On has they should be warrantied for life for any owner. Why in the world does it matter if the tool is sold ? Does the tool suddenly loose the quality if it is sold on ? The no-questions asked warranty was the only thing Snap-On had going for it compared to other top...

    Lista Cabinets

No that I know the Lista marketing strategy, but I think the reason the "fancy colors" cost extra is that most Lista customers are industrial shops that probably couldn't care less about colour. I think the strategy works. I always order reseda green, the extra charge is peanuts IMO.
