A ball peen hammer is the best for hardened stuck gaskets.

IR 231C is what I have always used. Dry air and lubrication and it will last for years.

I will try and post a picture tomorrow....it does not have a shiny finish to it and does not look like the one Charles has shown.

I picked up a 12" adjustable wrench at a garage sale. It is a Bahco and is made in Sweden. Weird thing is(to me)the jaws open/close opposite than a regular Cresent. Seems like a quality wrench,has a good feel to it.

It is a J5450PBL instead of a J5450BL.

My bad,I assumed it was a newer version with the fine teeth and all. I am 44 and cant recall seeing one just like it before. I take it is a good one?

I am in need of a tough long handle 1/2" drive ratchet. I saw a Proto J5450BL ratchet at a pretty good deal. Just wondering if it has been out long enough to prove itself durable.

What do you use for ratchet lube? I have read some info on a "red lube" but not a brand or name. Thank you
