Thanks all for your replies. I've finally gotten back to this project. Here's what I've discovered. The local roofing supply house tells me that anything piercing through the steel is excess and can safely be removed. The screws are not hardened. So, with that, I purchased the Faithful 24" end...

If the panel were flat, this would work. Many of the screws come through the concave part of the corrugation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
