"Canadian" #5 Vise

I believe I've looked through all the lists without spotting this one. I recently retrieved this from my late father's workshop. The name on the right side reads "No. 5 Canadian" Any info is appreciated.

It looks like a beefed up Record Vice. What does the decal on the back of the dynamic jaw say? That's where a Record vice has a similar sized decal.

Looks like a RAE. Here is a 3" one I am cleaning. Has a 3 on the jaw and Hamilton Canada on the side of the static jaw.

James: it does look like a RAE, but could also be a RECORD, PARAMO, or another similar vice because that is a fairly common styling. any chance you can post pictures of the other side and maybe a close up of the top of the dynamic cause there might be writing or the remains of a sticker somebody might recognize?

nice looking vise and can you give us the jaw width and weight of it?
