If you issue a command in wink to turn of a TCP bulb, the following happens:
-The command moves from the Wink app to the Wink hub to the Wink API
-The Wink API then send the command to the TCP API
-The TCP API then sends the command to the...
That "magic" via the TCP API is shutting down soon. They will soon just be dumb bulbs. This is due to TCP using their own communications protocol (hence the need for the hub), instead of opting for an open protocol such as Z-wave or Zigbee.
... And why wouldn't you go to the store to buy it instead of will call. The pricing online and at the store are two totally different things. I do not believe they will do a price match.
