It’s old fashioned stucco

I’m hoping to hit the stud by measuring from an exterior electrical outlet and hoping it’s 16 inch spacing like the rest of the house

I want to mount a tv outside on my balcony. The wall is stucco with plywood and then studs. Should i use tap con screws or lag screws for mounting the wall mount

Im thinking to secure rigid insulation foam board (1.5” thick) against the plywood and use cans of spray foam around the edges as I can get these materials for free. Will I see any benefits though?
