    I have sealed all the roof holes with NP1 Polyurethane Sealant. It VERY durable. They used this sealant at my dads work many years ago and it still looks new. I plan to fill the wall holes in spring. Its too cold here now for the sealant to work right.

    I was not trying to be a jerk. My wife tells me almost daily its a special gift I have:) Here is a couple more pictures. I spaced the posts and rafters at 8', originally they were 9'. The roof boards are 2' OC standing up. The side boards are 2' OC. Bracing was scraps nailed at angles to hold it...

    Thanks, Its been a long ride. A couple times I thought I bit off more than I could chew. I also learned not to have expectations. Something that seems simple ends up taking a whole weekend. I`m getting there slowly. Thankfully my neighbors are cool and have not complained at all. I`m coming up...

    I have been working on this barn for over a year. I have built nearly the whole thing myself, in my spare time. I had help setting the rafters and lifting the tin and 2x4 up for the roof. It was all used wood and steel. I ran out of used steel last weekend, looks like a trip to Menards soon...

    new guy from MN

    My name is Jason. A couple months ago we bought the house we have always wanted. 7.14 acres but only a three car garage. I will be building a 42x90 pole barn starting soon. Looks like this site is full of info. I heard about it through the Jalopyjournal.
