My house originally had an updraft furnace. I wanted to replace it with a downdraft(no basement).
My question how can I tell what the furnace I purchased is down draft or updraft? I bought it off a vendor he dropped it off its been a few years since and my son lost the manual.

I agree for $20 you cant beat it. Lugging the cord around while it gets twisted, stuck on a board, someone trips on it, gets to be a pain in the neck. I'll choose a portable over a cordless any day.
Chances are you are not going to use it much after your done. You will be fine with a 10 inch. Save yourself some money check the local pawn shops. Or get a $100 mitre from lowes or home depot. Your 12" will sit by the exercise machine.
