Now thats funny.
The thing is, I live 45min from where I bought it and don't want to return if this is normal. My dad has same compressor and his also has the same knock. Does nobody else have a CH compressor that can verify if I need to return.
Just purchased a new CH 20gal oil filled compressor. It runs nice and smooth and quiet until it builds 50 psi. From there on it seems to have a knock. Is this normal to have the knock as the pressure builds? It builds pressure without any problems but was just concerned with the knocking noise.
$23 Wow.
I have 900 sqft with 4 250' loops
TK Jr2 set at 100*
return temps start at around 58 and reach about 70 before system shuts down after approx 15 min.
Not out there much right now but it seems to cycle about once every four hours.
I have similar flows of 2.1 to 2.4 but have had to clean...
Would you mind sharing some info on your system. What is your garage temp set at? What is heater temp? What are your in and out temps when system fires up. How long does your system run each time it fires. What are your flow rates? Any info would be appreciated.
Thx
I installed a TK Jr on my new floor system and all though it seems to be working good, I was just wondering if anyone could give me some input on how much propane they are using. My system is using alot more propane than I expected. Not very efficient in my opinion.
I too have high delta t on my new system approx 30°. However, the system seems to be working ok. I have 1150' of 1/2" in 900Sqft. Tankless heater is set at 100°. Slab sits at approx 65° and garage is 60°. When system comes on it takes about 15min to bring the return water upto 70° then it...
I am having the same issue on my newly fired up system. The delta is around 30*. Supply 100* and return 68*. I have been told that it is way to high but I cannot change it by speeding up or slowing down the pump.
Has anybody used the Silverboard product? They claim it is better than the blue or pink foam board and it is cheaper. It is a 2" EPS that is laminated on both sides and has a foil layer built into as well. I'm not sure if it is even available in the US. Just looking for some input.
Thanks
It is a 5' poured concrete wall. The top of the wall at the back corner is 8" above grade and the front is 14" above grade. Again, what is the best product to insulate the exterior concrete? I live in Central Ontario.
