Ive had a Genie worm drive for 16 years not a single issue other then they are a little noisy. Put in a drop ceiling and that helped with noise quite a bit.

There called stem extensions or ball valve extensions. I had to buy one for copper pipe. Dont know if they make anything like that for pex though.

Alberto it is pretty darn quiet! My vacuum on my blast cabinet is louder. Im very happy with the quality and performance of this beast. No vibration runs smooth.

Maybe something like this will help. Has several furnace filters inside the box that the exhaust passes through. Can have a conversation standing right next to it without having to raise your voice. One of several reasons I bought this compressor.
