Concrete floor of shed wet. Want to seal...

Hey all, I have a shed on a concrete slab, just assembled it. Concrete was dry when I assembled the shed, however now the floor is quite damp. The concrete pad seems to be absorbing water from the surrounding grass or through the ground. It just isn't drying out either, at least not in all...

Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

Yes, you did :) I saw your install in a few other posts. I like what you did, a lot actually, but I am probably good with epoxy anchors. I have no metal cutting or welding skills. I may do a 4' x 12' by 12"...

Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

Thanks for the feedback so far, all. Sounds like I am starting with a bit better setup.. most spots are 4.5" and it is reinforced. It's just those center bolts that are giving me issues and I think I have a solution for that. Do you mind telling me how much you paid for the concrete to be cut...

Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

Indeed, I checked the site, the three back bolts seem to take the most punishment. I don't like the idea of just relying on epoxy for a 3" hole with the wej-it though, so I am thinking of picking up those Red Head drop anchors for the center bolts and epoxying them in. People here seem to like...

Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

Well that's the end plan I think... but I don't see any reason the anchors I posted wouldn't do the job I need them to do. Given their listed strength, they should be about 7x more than necessary. It's a builder home, but building code states a minimum PSI of 4500 and a minimum thickness of I...

Max Jax install and concrete thickness issue

Hey all, I finally installed (or at least tried to install) a Max Jax lift. I know a few people here have them, and I need some help with an issue. Basically on each post you have three 'rear' bolts and two center bolts which are closest to the arms. I managed to get the wej-it bolts in for...

Need a wheel rack shelf, wall mount

LOL perfect! 2 of those 23's should do exactly what I need! I imagine what I'll do though is put them on a 2x6 and then use lag bolts to hold the 2x6 to the wall... $33 bucks, can't beat that! Just placed the order. Thanks! -J

Need a wheel rack shelf, wall mount

Hi all! First post, but I have browsed around a bit and have to say some of these garages are unreal! I am trying to make better use of my garage space. I have a townhouse so my garage is very small. I want to try to keep large items off the floor, such as tires. I want to build a VERY sturdy...
