Thanks Klammer. Mine are slightly different. It is not a T mine is where the line connects to the air cylinder/piston that retracts the safety lock. I called Bendpak and they directed me to send an email which I did and no response yet and it's been a week. Has been the Holidays and everything.
Evening garage aficionados,
One of my air lines is leaking at the fitting. The fitting at one of the safety locks (4 post). The sleeve inside the fitting is mangled. I ran up to home depot, purchased a 1/4 plastic/nylon sleeve, it was different than the one on the line but as its all they had I...
Not to hijack the thread but seeings there are a few dissenters here any negatives to spray foaming the attic in my house? I was considering opencell. I have GAF shingles on OSB with radiant barrier on the attic side. Stick frame house, brick.
So I have a power source outside to plug in some cafe/ restaurant style decorative string lights. Any ideas on putting a weatherproof wifi switch on it so I don't have to physically go out and plug it in?
one gate as others said for simplicity and ease of maintenance. the gate runs on a track which will have to be on your property not on the city utility easement. You could put it on the easement, but you might get eventually called out on it. Plus there are the utilities, why bother. I put...
I painted my cabinets in Sherwin Williams "Cyber Space" 7076 after also looking for a similar grey to match my bendpak. My cabinets are across the garage though so it didnt have to be perfect, just close. I'm pretty happy with it.
Great ideas above. Thanks all. Love to buy new tools but as one poster pointed out, Im not building a space shuttle here lol. I will put my die on first and then double nut.
SO I bought some threaded pad inserts for some bar stools. Trouble is, the shafts are about 1/2" too long and won't allow the shaft to fully screw in and seat in the bar stool. I am about to cut off 12 off these things a little shorter. I was going to dremel them and them use a die to clean...
How do the roombas - like the one above from costco - handle water? Like when you park a car in and its wet from rain or even in the summer when the ac has been on quite a bit of water can drip from the evaporator.
Any body have a suggestion?
1st world problem, but my spa blower is too powerful. Its only 1HP which is the smallest one the manufacturer makes. But the bubbles splash over the side of the spa and its hard to talk in there, kind of like the news guy covering the incoming hurricane.
I figured...
As napaul wrote does depend on budget. Obviously the more satisfying would be to build a new one just how you want it. If you have enough land you might keep both and use the old one for rider mowers bicycles other junk that gets in the way in the 'real' garage
