The ones I bought on eBay were counterfeit. They came with all the paperwork you described.... Took some effort but after surfing the net and the Mitutoyo website, I was able to verify that they were in fact fakes and got my money back through PayPal.

Thanks for the reply, I too am so tired of the clutter as I have so much equipment stuffed into my two car garage that I have no room to work. I have been reluctant to build a detached barn/garage in part out of concern how much my taxes will increase. Heck, they will go up if you put a shed...

Have you calculated what the increase in property taxes will be? I'm already payin $12,000.00 a year.....

I have to agree, there is no valid excuse for his behavior and his feeble attempts to explain why he failed to make good on what he owes is insulting to anyone with a brain.

One of the main reasons why I have not built a workshop on my property is the affect it will have on my property taxes which are already hovering at 12 grand per year in NJ.
