Ah, I see what you are talking about -- no place to attach the cover in the corner(s). So basically the only option for this gang box to have a "flush" metal cover would be to find a faceplate that measures 5.5" x 3.75" that attaches to the switches as you mentioned.

I'm not familiar with electrical and standard gang box sizes, but I believe this three switch box measures 5.5" width x 3.75" height x 3.5" depth, so I'd be looking for the plate that fits that size and looks similar to the 2 switch gang box cover I posted: I'd rather not use a standard size...

The original outlets (exposed gang boxes) all had cheap white plastic outlet/switch faceplate covers, which didn't work well in the garage. Showing dirt, breaking off on the edges, etc. I've been replacing all the faceplates with metal box covers like this:

I just bought this LED digital clock to put over the garage doorway -- it's so ridiculously bright it lights up the whole garage in a blue glow when the lights are off. It doesn't really go with the retro/vintage/etc. "theme" of the rest of the garage, but it sure acts as a good night light...

So an update to our Broadway Wrecker Service Garage project: As we mentioned previously in this thread, we had a really difficult time trying to stain the concrete floor of our garage. Since that time, we've seen the stain come up in several spots, especially "hot tire" marks from parked cars...
