    4 to 1 Multi-bit Driver

Looking for a 4-to-1 multiplying multi-bit screwdriver. You hold the black knob and turn the handle for the multiplying action. Kimball Midwest carries these but you've got to jump through a ton of hoops to be able to buy through them. My dad has on that has KLEIN TOOLS stamped in the handle but...

    Alternative to snap on cutters

Personally I never buy anything from Mac or Matco. I'm just not impressed. I have a vast selection of branded items in my toolbox at the hangar. Knipex pliers are hands down the best. I don't care for Snap On pliers (except the 808). I find they're usually too bulky for tight areas on aircraft.

No power on one circuit. Out of ideas.

Determined there has become an issue between the breaker and first outlet on the circuit. Unsure exactly what (i.e. squirrel chewed the wire etc) but the electrician who will be rewiring confirmed this. Having that whole circuit rewired Monday. That's for the input guys!

    Alternative to snap on cutters

The ProAmerica 4046 are an acceptable alternative. They won't quite cut thicker 200 size stainless cotters but they will cut .020-.041 stainless safety wire and 134 cotters as well 134 size stainless cotters with ease. For now they will suffice. Well worth the $20. Time will tell if I have...

No power on one circuit. Out of ideas.

Everything on that circuit is dead. Proper voltage is leaving the breaker however no voltage is reaching any outlet on the circuit. As mentioned I replaced nothing on this circuit (except for the GFCI after thinking it was the culprit). House was built in 72. It is aluminum wire. On the...

No power on one circuit. Out of ideas.

Thanks guys, forgot to mention the old house has aluminum wiring. This circuit also feeds one light switch in the kitchen and the ceiling fan in the living room. Nothing on that circuit is working/has power to it. For the GFCI I merely replicated the way the old outlet was wired. I will...

No power on one circuit. Out of ideas.

Guys, I could use a little help. I'm stumped. I recently purchased a new home that primarily had ivory colored outlets/switches. I replaced them all with white outlets/switches. About 2 weeks after doing so I was using the microwave when the power on that circuit went out after about 30 seconds...

    Alternative to snap on cutters

Hey it's the truth! They're about to that point where you'd give them to your toddler to go along with his plastic Black and Decker pretend tool set.

The Truck Tool Equivalents Thread - Gathering Data

That weller kit is wrong. The actual kit is the Portasol Super Pro 125 Kit. 100% identical. Portasol makes the kit for Snap On. The Portasol kit is $70 on Amazon, $160 on the truck. I just bought mine a month ago on Amazon.

    Alternative to snap on cutters

Bumping this slightly old thread. OP, did you ever find an alternative or did you buy the 808's? I know EXACTLY why you want these. I was googling 808 alternatives after months of spontaneous ebay searches have come up with no luck. I tried explaining to the Mac guy (as SO won't come to our...
