Engagement Ring or a New Epiq???

Put a keg of Guinness or Stella Artois in the kegerator. Marry the girl, if she doesn't demand the ring (especially knowing that you have the money) despite being that pretty, she's worth it. Great call on the box. White toolboxes are weird, use the white as a base to paint it up in classic...

    Let's see your Flashlights!

I have a Streamlight Strion LED at work. Love it, I think I'm going to get another to keep at home and maybe even a third one to keep in the truck. Maybe even wire a charger into the car, too (can't plug the cigarette lighter in because 968s have oversized sockets). Funny thing, everybody...

Whats the most dis-liked tool in your shop ?

The "FNG" service advisor. "So...customer says the car's making a noise. And it has a vibration. And it smells funny. And sometimes it doesn't drive right. Oh and it's a waiter."

The appropriate tool to beat a rollcab to death with is...

I nearly did that with a Graco Oil King once. Stopped before the car had dropped down far enough to split it open or anything, but it never was quite "straight" again after that... Definitely want to see the photos of the carnage. That said, can't blame him too much. Gotta be difficult to...

First impact set - deep or shallow?

I have a Snap-On deep 1/2" drive impact socket set and a Gearwrench shallow set. I use the Snap-On deep sockets multiple times every day and the Gearwrench shallow sockets once every few months. I think you need both, but probably start with the deep sockets.

    Most Used Socket

Oh...can I also point out that T30 is a reasonably close second to 10mm? Or are we not doing bit sockets?

    Most Used Socket

    10mm, usually 1/4" drive 12-point deepwell.

Made in USA, at Harbor Freight, still *****.

These "kits" are usually stupid. Go to the hardware store and get a couple grades of sandpaper and an adapter for your power drill. Also get the plastic polish of your choice. Then just wetsand with generous applications of soapy water. Finish with the plastic polish until they look new. At...

Do I dare try a harbor fright 3/8 air ratchet ?

I have the HF 3/8" air ratchet (not the impacting one) and the mini 1/4". Both work very well, I've been completely satisfied with them. I don't know if I would buy an impact from HF, but I have about half a dozen air tools from them and none have presented any problems. Regular oiling seems...

Have A Plug Wrench, Now Who Made it

Odd, looks to me like this was made in the 19th century, or if later, then home made.

Which one man brake bleeder to buy(abs brakes)

Motive, been using it on ABS cars for years. I use the Harbor Freight 92924 vacuum brake bleeder at work. It's better for exchanging larger volumes of fluid faster, whereas the Motive bleeder is better for clearing out air bubbles.

Don't stick a blow gun up your **** and hit the trigger

Asian 13 year old boy, gas station air hose up the ****...uh huh I've heard this one before. I think this isn't "news" exactly, nor reported, uh, exactly. Pumping Death

    Torque sticks

Question is, why are you using a 3/8" impact instead of a 1/2" impact? I use the Snap-On TSKT100TA, I never find myself skipping it. I suppose if you had a powerful 3/8" impact (say, an MG325 or a 2115TiMAX) you could just put an impact adapter on it and use a 1/2" drive torque extension.

SK vs HF Flare nut wrenches

Great photos and great information! HF makes a lot of great products, many of which I use and love. But they also make a lot of ****! This is a great example of where you need to pick and choose which tools you save money on, and which tools you invest real money into. Also, great to see...

Adhesive Removal Spray? A really good working one?

Do you know what it's called or have a link? I need that stuff! My 968 has even more glass area in the hatch than your 928, it's like a greenhouse sitting in the sun. I really don't want to tint it dark, though, so this sounds perfect.
