Icon Impact Socket Coating Coming Off

Wear it out first then judge whether it was worth it to you. As far as the black flaking off, keep it lightly oiled and itll be fine. I struggle with condensation in my service truck and even my usa made tools will get a little surface rust from time to time. I clean them off and keep using them.

Hammered Finish Light Green Paint (Wilton Vise Green?) edit, Also Fan Refinish

They are the cats meow. My dad got me into these a while ago. I have one in the shop myself that has a cushion on top. They also made table top models and even some with an ashtray. Theh work great because they pull cool air from the floor and blow it up toward you. Great fans.

SUPER Thin Wall 14mm Spark Plug Socket Needed - Anyone with a lathe? Will pay!

Not sure about your exact situation here but a locking extension can sure come in handy on spark plugs... In my industry its either green or its yelow and thats why its expensive. Same thing though.

Wrench sets besides combination to add to the box

Ill go out tomorrow and measure for sure( I have both), but I still run into spots the 4 ways dont cut and im reaching for the service wrench. The only other downside to 4 ways are the opposing heads. The points can be a little sharp on the hands when putting leverage on them.

Wrench sets besides combination to add to the box

Didnt see service wrenches or checknut wrenches mentioned. I have wright service wrenches and love them. https://www.wrighttool.com/products/wrenches/service-wrenches/service-wrenches-30-angle They are thinner and a different angle. Great for saving your hide. I use them often on hydraulic lines.

    Ratchet Recommendations. New or Old?

Go with Wright. USA made in Ohio. Double pawl, can get knurled grip, contour grip or nitrile. Short or long handle, they even have the 3/8 guts in 1/4 body. Hard to beat Wright in my opinion, still family owned too. They even make a 42" long ratchet. The price is great on them usualy too. Very...

    Harry J. Epstein Day 2024

This almost feels like looking through a catalog before Christmas as a kid. Circling everything you want and waiting until finally its here. Jori, is there anyway to order tools that arent on your site, but are made by the mfgs that you do sell?

Recommend a 3/8 Impact Socket Strategy

I have the m18 3/8 1/2, and 3/4. Not sure what generations but all 3 are no more than 5 or 6 years old with the 3/4 being the newest. I work on heavy equipment and honestly use the 3/8 quite a bit. I bought my impact sockets from Wright and have been very happy with them. The 3/8 is great for...

Tools You Need to Buy High End Brand Name (2024 Edition)

I bought the Tekton 4 way angle wrenches and have been using them on heavy equipment(dozer excavator etc,) and they have been awesome. 0 complaints. Im going to continue buying the larger sets as they come out with the updated sets. I know snap ons are great, but for me using them almost daily...

    Tekton Tools Praise Thread

I got to hand it toTekton, Im thrilled they are bringing a lot of manufacturing to the US, they are constantly improving and updating. I bought the angle wrenches a while back(1 1/16 - 1 1/4) and love them. They changed the finish and I bought a set of the new ones (lower size set) and they feel...
