    ICON Socket——color me unimpressed

But I mean, in that video he used a std socket on an etorx head.... broke the icon, stripped out the snapon... both damaged from using it wrong, surprise surprise. Not going to say I think ICON is some awesome tool, but I do have 3 full time mechanic friends who've used em for years without...

    ICON Socket——color me unimpressed

Not really true these days actually... they can just use cameras and other scanning equipment... I mean Amsoil uses a camera to check the gap between a cap and the bottle to see if it is screwed on the right enough on a moving line... if they can do that imaging a socket to see if it is out of...

    Drill Bit for Steel Education

I have a set that looks similar to this pic (not this brand, I bought them at Central Welding Supply) that are bits designed for steel with stepped tips. They cost me around $125 for the set but since buying them I haven't had to replace a single one (also working on car type stuff mostly). I...

    Let's see your toolbox.

I do, wouldn't ever use them for day to day use... my mobile tools are in bags that waste less space in the back of the Jeep :)

    Let's see your toolbox.

Got a third drawer done on my new USG toolbox setup, populated with a new driver set from Tekton... and a set of punches/chisels. Still trying to figure out which wrenches/pliers I want to pick up, those will be the last two major drawers of new tools. The chisels are in the USG 26"...

I wish people didn't refer to my workshop as a "Man Cave"

I used to have a sign on the wall of my garage that read "My man cave is exit only. Thank you."

tried that and they don't fit quite right in the drawer due to lengths.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Got another drawer done on my new tool/box setup... couldn't get any toolbox widgets that work well for the thicker extensions, so went with toolganizer... they work fine, basically just 3d printed blocks with holes/magnets. They have different colors available so I went with a different color...

those are Toolbox Widgets. Expensive but I like how they work for sockets. The extension bits are on some Tekton socket strips.

    Jumper cable recommendation

Honestly any decent pair of Jumpers will work, I've jump started a Semi with a 10$ pair off of amazon. Personally though I haven't used cables in years, instead opting to just carry a small battery jump pack. Takes less room in the vehicle than cables, and works even if you don't have another...

Toolbox Widgets... expensive, but needed to get everything to fit... and yeah, there are a few small spots, I'm sure they'll get filled eventually :)

    Let's see your toolbox.

Just picked these up recently, have a hutch, and cabinet on order. Also just finished purchasing new sockets and organizing the top drawer of the 56" cabinet.

    Show us your welding projects

Welded on some new upper/lower control arm brackets on my Jeeps rear axle last month after ripping one of the uppers off out on the trail. Happy with how it went for a first time.
