Diamond cutting disc for die grinder

I use one of the 4-1/2" version on my angle grinder at work. This is all I will buy from now on from the safety factor alone. I was cutting in a vise when the grinder caught on something slamming the cutting wheel into the vise. I was shaken but okay, if that were a bonded abrasive style that I...

    Power washers

decent electric pressure washers start at 1500 and go up. Also all of them with any real pressure require 220v. They are heavy, bulky, and personally I dont think they work aswell as there gas powered counterparts.

Growing up we heated with coal, so a similar operation, dump heavy bag into the hopper on the back of the stove. We had an old grain hopper that held 3 tons of coal, with a duct work shoot straight into the hopper on the stove. It was all gravity fed and the shoot had a gate at the end of it...

    Small impact Allen socket/bits

I am a maintenance tech on CNC machines and support equipment as well, I use a gear wrench set of short allen/hex bits. They are not impact but work very well on the end of an impact driver. I have not broken 1 in the last year and a half, and that was my own fault, nothing with the tools.

    Hearing Protection

I got a pair of surefire EP3's in a pinch and am very happy with them, all day comfort, stays up, "adjustable" hearing protection. They have a small cap that will allow some sounds through with them open, if you close them you get more of a traditional ear plug. I have found them sufficient...

    roof sheathing w/ 24" centers

Growing up roofing with my father (33 years in the union) when ever we replaced roof decking we always used 3/4" ply wood. It will take out the waves that you see and will look alot better when it is done because of it.

    Use for 8 point sockets.

I have used alot of taps with 8 point sockets, also they are useful for easy outs as you can get alot more torque through a ratchet than you can a tap handle.

lowe's / kobalt tools NO warranty, buyer beware...

I don't have a problem with Kobolt warranty, I returned 9 tape measure, 2 1/2" drive ratchets, 8" slip joint pliers, and 2 #2 phillips screw drivers last week without issue. The girl at the counter even laughed when i gave her my license and saw the list of warranty returns I have.
