Awesome little 110v welding machine that I’ll miss, but upgrading and consolidating to a single 110/220 machine for space savings. Runs like a top. Will include all parts that came with it and a partial roll of solid core (no cart or gas tank are included). If you prefer flux core, I’ll include...

Craftsman 6” Vice - Replacement Jaw Plate?

    Thank you!! I didn’t think to cross-reference the p/n. I was focused on the vise model #. $20 vs $60 is a no-brainer! I’ll order a set right away!

Craftsman 6” Vice - Replacement Jaw Plate?

Pics… Edit to add - I have only found one replacement option for $60. That seems really expensive considering other options are $20, but unknown compatibilit.

Craftsman 6” Vice - Replacement Jaw Plate?

I have an older (20yo?) Craftsman 6” vice with a broken jaw plate. I may be using the incorrect term - referring to the metal fastened to the actual vice that’s removable. I’m about to start another car project and am tired of nursing the broken piece to work. Does anyone make replacements...

So the floor of my landscape trailer rotted out. Anyone ever replace the wood decking?

Full day burning steel. Used my new plasma - like a hot knife through butter! Love it! Added the roll stop to the front of the trailer deck Centered the front, middle stake pockets up front (actually cut off the old and replaced with a new one) Added a 2nd stake pocket to each side behind wheels...

Buy once, cry once. Go with the white oak. Seal sides, bottoms and ends with a couple coats of ATF. Fasten it to the steel then coat the top a few times. With an annual recoat, you’ll likely never have to replace the wood again.

So the floor of my landscape trailer rotted out. Anyone ever replace the wood decking?

This is the before picture. 18’ (16+2) pressure treated pine This is the after picture. 3 heavy coats of ATF. I couldn’t do the bottom S I would have been coated in ATF. If it rots, it rots. I’ll just throw rough sawn white oak on it if that happens. I’m adding the roll stop...

So the floor of my landscape trailer rotted out. Anyone ever replace the wood decking?

Just sold my 16’ flatbed and put a deposit on an 18’ (16’+2’ dove) 10k trailer. I’ll bring it home this weekend and roll out the ATF kit again. I’ll try to keep the pressure treated pone as long as possible…then I’ll replace with white oak. pics pending…

So the floor of my landscape trailer rotted out. Anyone ever replace the wood decking?

Good morning!! I’ve become a HUGE fan of treating my deck boards with new or used ATF. It starts off as a reddish tint but mellows with time. It’s only slippery at the outset but that also goes away. At installation, I triple coated the bottom and sides of the boards. Once installed, I hit...
