    Late 1940-1950s Craftsman Toolboxes (SOLD)

Thinking about selling these two boxes. Haven't had the time to properly restore/fix them. Here is a thread from when I found them: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/older-craftsman-toolbox-score-now-i-have-lots-of-questions.401860/ Would like to keep the sale local if possible...

    Logan Lathe Apron Clutch

Question on a Logan 820 lathe circa 1946. There seems to be several arrangements for the clutch in the apron. My clutch has a knob on the outside. When I disassembled it two small springs fell out along with the "discs" in the clutch. I can see these springs in the parts diagrams but it is not...

    Older Mac? Toolbox Please Help

Thinking your right. It has the holes were the MBC Century emblem should sit on the top left corner of the bottom box. I think the 70 on the stamping means it was made in 1970 from what I've seen. Let me know if anyone has handles or old MBC Century emblems. Thanks!

    Older Mac? Toolbox Please Help

Can anyone help me identify this older box I found. I think it's a Mac made by The Metal Box and Cabinet Co. in Chicago as seen in the first picture. Looking to find the date of manufacturing and the brand as I need a couple handles and the missing badge. Thanks!

Thanks. Although it might be expensive to get a box shipped out west! Let me know if you find it. I'll keep looking. Although there's a lot of rabbit holes to go down with all the old tools you guys got out there.

Older Craftsman Toolbox Score Now I Have Lots of Questions

Thanks for the welcome and the info. The small top box does have the AMD Chicago USA on the inside of the badge. Still can't find any model number on either box. Is there a good internet resource for Sears catalogs besides Vintage Machinery?

Older Craftsman Toolbox Score Now I Have Lots of Questions

Jaybd07 Thanks! Your looks to be in good condition! Not sure what you mean by "lance" style. I just learned that although our two logos look similar the one on my box has a longer C on the bottom and says "registered US pat. office" which could indicated it might even be from the late 40's...

Older Craftsman Toolbox Score Now I Have Lots of Questions

Hi all, I picked up this set of toolboxes the other day filled with tools. I am currently scoring the vintage toolbox thread for similar pictures and info. I do not think these two boxes belong together but they look to be from the same era. Does anyone know how old these are? Does this look...
