Logan Lathe Apron Clutch

Question on a Logan 820 lathe circa 1946. There seems to be several arrangements for the clutch in the apron.

My clutch has a knob on the outside. When I disassembled it two small springs fell out along with the "discs" in the clutch. I can see these springs in the parts diagrams but it is not obvious where they belong. If anyone knows that would be very helpful. Thanks

Have you checked with online diagrams, I haven't been to the site for a while but check out "Logan actuators" I've got drawings for my Logan there, you can still get parts and they might have other drawings also. BCD
