I found this place that seems to have the right 16 rib belt. I put one on order and hope it works out. I'll let you know.

I've recently picked up an old Rockwell Model 20 drill press. It's a variable speed model number 70-6X0.
I'd love to find a manual or parts list for it if anyone happens to have one.
For other's reference I've been able to collect the following info in the start of this teardown & rebuild...
Micheal and Jessica were very prompt and helpful from purchase to delivery. The BendPak XPR-10A-168 lift was as expected, and I am very happy with their service.
I would certainly purchase from them again, and recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a BendPak lift.
Here's a site that shows historical prices on Amazon and will even send you reminders when a price gets to a certain level.

Take off the head and look at the gasket. I have the same pump and it was making the same noise. It turned out that the head gasket had deteriorated. I replaced the gasket and its been running normally ever since. Easy and pretty cheap fix.
Take a look at a "you pull it" junk yard. Just about every pickup truck or van has one and they are pretty cheap. Usually around $25.
If you buy one wide enough, then you'd only need to cut to length and fabricate the part that connects to your car's frame.
You could just make the tubing pass straight through the bottle. It wouldn't leak, but the visual effect might not be as cool looking. Perhaps you could add some brownish epoxy mix inside the bottle portion just for effect.
Some KTM frames are made from chrome moly steel. I'm not a welding expert, but there are considerations to keep the steel from getting brittle. You may want to check into it if it concerns you.
Get the engine warmed up and then soak the area with spray on oven cleaner. I've let it soak for about 15 minutes and then spray it down well with the garden hose. Its pretty powerful stuff, but may leave marks on aluminum sufaces.
Good luck.
