Race deck; garage flooded; remove to dry out ?

I had a similar flooding problem. I used an electric leaf blower to dry it out. I lifted the tiles near the middle, shoved the blower tube as far as it could reach, and blew away. About 2/3 of the entire floor lifted as I blasted out the moisture. I did this a couple times a day over a weekend...

Race Deck what is your long term experience

I've had Race Deck in my garage since 2003. [Private home] The structure of the tile holds up fine. However, the finish is still plastic. After years of tires & grit, the finish becomes dull with fine scratches and I have tire marks that do not come off. I tried a Xylene based clear coat and...

    VCT, Epoxy, race deck experience

I have had Race Deck in my garage for ten years. Yes, it will scratch if you drag something heavy across it. My two car garage requires me to turn the wheel as I enter. Ground in tire marks with grit does show and those areas will not stay glossy. No amount of scrubbing has removed the tire...

    Epoxy and Tile (Brands+Prices)

I know this is an epoxy thread, but if you are inclined to get tiles, Racedeck is the way to go. I've had mine for four years. Sure, there are some tire marks where you turn the wheel, but overall I am very pleased. One day project and no smell, or waiting period. I drop hammers, and use a...

    Question for Racedeck owners

I have a four year old Race Deck Floor. The strongest product I have used is Dawn Power Dissolver with a sponge Scotch Brite. It is one step below oven cleaner. http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/jermar/?action=view&current=86445cef.jpg

    Turning on RaceDeck

You might not have a problem with the strength of the tile, but you will see cosmetic trouble. Whenever my tires turn on Racedeck, it leaves marks that will not clean up.

    Racedeck vs Costco's Motofloor

I have the exact same staining problem. It is worse with any brand new tires. Mine seem to be bad because of a slight turn of the wheel as I park. I have three year old Race Deck. I'm thinking of getting 4 black tiles under each tire. I have used most of the chemicals you have. I think those...

Race Deck tile and jackstands: My fix.

I use a piece of 1/4" plywood under my stands. I also damaged a few tiles, but since they are near the middle, I thought it would be too difficult to repair. Love your color combo; see why. http://photobucket.com/albums/a153/jermar/

    better than a breaker bar...

I have that exact bar. I bent it good when I used it with a breaker bar to remove my lug nuts, installed at local shop with an air wrench. Poor quality. My local Sears said they could not replace it because they do not carry it. I ordered it on line. They told me I would have to mail it. Bogus.

Race Deck floor + Craftsman cabinet

First post. Great to see this site. It was time for me to put some order in my garage. I used 16' X 18' of racedeck floor. I added the craftsman cabinet to have one place for my detailing supplies. Hope you like it. Jerry...
