I have old series 2 HF boxes like them better than the series 3. For me they hold tools and are made well i have many other things to spend my money on. Still need to finish the bench but you get the idea.
Spray foam is expensive but tell you what it holds th building together like glue over time you will not get that wind blowing the steel around And vibrating the screws loose . Something I didn’t think of at the time. What i should have done is sprayed it with fire retardant paint all white.
Just poured 4000 sq no issues brushed outside. same company did inside my shop so smooth i was able to clear it no problem no sanding just mopped it 6” slab 1/2 rebar also 4000sq shop floor 1 pour. 8 guys all day started 6am 50k. Get what you pay, both week of prep.
yes i did something like that. Floor has clear coated with high temp coating and did walls 42” below with corrugated steel for some welding and grinding purposes did not do entire wall but you could if your are welding in close perimeters. Added welding outlets in 3 locations due to location of...
All metal building that dont have spray foam will start to produce condensation, i also did metal building close cell 4” on ceiling 3” on walls. Expensive but well worth it, with any thing else you will get some moister and over time effect the insulation. Make sure if you were to use it check...
Yes its vary competitive out there, i bought 3 -4AWT (copper )cable 350‘ or so was giving the contractors discount save about 3500. Way cheaper than home depot Aluminum cable would have been.
My lvl 6x12 spanning 42‘ single pieces used a tractor to lift. But i wanted security. The mezzanine is 26x42. If you use steel you will need to mount wood inside to attach your flooring unless you sit the flooring on it.
Probably to Carry the weight of the door when it’s opened and so it needs to hang lower for the door tracks. Assuming. On my shop i should of added scissor trusses as i built a mezzanine.
