You don't want to have it go up from the compressor - you want it downhill incase any water/condensation goes *backward* after the pump has stopped. Water in the compressor head is not good. Fix that and you've got a nice setup.

One thing i would recommend looking into is making the input of the filter lower then the output of the pump. Any water that will run back to the pump will make it no longer enjoy life.

Could always add a side box to the snappy if you need more space

Maybe im missing the obvious. But if your going to bare metal how do you plan to protect it from flash rising until you can get it to paint jail with out an air compressor. Even if your doing rust repair you need to have something protecting the good sheet metal. If this is your planned route...

Re: Menards cabinet differences (other than size) between 36" vs 41" vs 56"? I believe the 56 is a couple inches deeper then the 36 & 41.

I've seen sevt_chevelle's work on another site. He knows his stuff and I would trust what he says.

Keep the 12 points. I occasionally find fasterners on cars that are 12 and there is only one way to get them off. Just like any other tool, you might not always need it, but when you do need it and have it your day goes much better.

Heard someone mention before get a small fire going in the back yard and have the kids practice with them so they know how to use them if needed. Might be worth it to have a spare good on hand just incase the olds ones are done.

Haven't swept in over 2 years.... Also have a gravel floor. The only good part about it is I don't have to really clean anything except for the big chunks.
