Above 1200 Sq/FT Overcoming Good-Deal-Itis One Project at a Time

That’s great to hear. I’ve had a detached retina repaired in both of my eyes. I had positional requirements after both surgeries but neither were face down, thankfully. The gas bubble in my eye after the second surgery took much longer to dissipate than my first procedure. I know exactly...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Overcoming Good-Deal-Itis One Project at a Time

Does the gas bubble in your eye require you to keep your head positional?

My Bosch Installation tool lives in this travel bag. The heads not on the tool are kept in the black, zippered, Husky pouch they are setting on.

Utility cart as a tool cart?

The Rubbermaid carts I’m familiar with were the smaller, narrow carts. They seemed to work better getting between a hoist and the wall or around other equipment. I never had a cart with the handle above the edge of the top shelf. I wouldn’t want it based on the way we used/abused ours YMMV

What's the one garage upgrade you wish you'd done sooner?

I’m going to try to answer your questions but my use of my mini split may not be typical. My garage is two bays deep on one side and a single bay deep on the other. The shop bay shown in the above picture is a bit more than 16 feet deep and 11.5 feet wide. The two bay area where the vehicles...

Utility cart as a tool cart?

Yes using a utility cart as a mechanic‘s cart works! In my experience plastic is a better choice than steel. I worked professionally in two different depts. for almost 14 years using the Rubbermaid cart I linked below. I used it for parts, fasteners, some tools, really most anything. I...

Cordless 1/4" hex power drivers - your screwdriver and impact driver lineup

I have a total of five. I’m also counting the 3/8” square drive just because. I have a 15+ year old Bosch impact driver. It’s an early model that was labeled 10.8v. The power screw driver came with it impact. I use it so much more than I thought I would. The Ryobi 18v was a free tool when...
