    Milwaukee 2763-20 1/2" impact issues w/ trigger?

The Milwaukee trigger issue is well known and common. I had the same on my 1/2 impact and my circular saw. In both cases the tool was new enough to be under warranty. In the case of the Impact wrench the one they sent me back was refurbished and was clearly not as new as the one I sent in. I...

    M18 Milwaukee Impact Driver

The smaller Hex impact driver will do you fine from what you describe. It will probably even exceed your expectations on what it can do. Follow Mikey's advice and get the new one, you'll be happy with it. I have a half inch impact wrench and a hex driver and almost never use or need the half...

What are your favorite "snags" on FB Marketplace or Craigslist?

I've had a ton of decent deals over the years none as good as some that are posted here. More frequently than a good deal I see the tool I'm looking for at near full new price, sometime higher than new price. That I don't understand. I mean it happens a LOT I half wonder if it's a money...

    Milwaukee Trigger Safety Issue

This is likely the last siding project I will involve myself in. If I were to do more I would consider the shears.

    Milwaukee Trigger Safety Issue

For sure on the respiration filter, I overkill any time I create dust nowadays, 3m half face with particulate and organic filters stacked. I find that the 3m is only slightly less of a pain than a "covid" n95 mask.

    Milwaukee Trigger Safety Issue

A few follow ups, The tool is battery powered and about 4 years old. I hear you on the dust being a problem, but still, cement fiber board is one of the things that need cutting with a circular saw.

    Milwaukee Trigger Safety Issue

Folks, I have posted and read many posts regarding Milwaukee's trigger challenges. This weekend I was cutting cement fiberboard siding and had a scary problem. The trigger on my Milwaukee Circular saw was sticking in the "on" position after I release d the trigger. As I was using a cement...

Slowing Down Miter Saw to cut metal

Hey guys, follow up here. So first off I did this and it worked. Let me address some of the points made. First off I should have provided more detail in the beginning. I don't pretend that this is a great GJ level solution. I have a 20+ year old makita miter saw that I got for $10 at a garage...

What's the best tool you've ever bought?

I often buy a tool for a specific need then end up using it a ton, then look back on how I ever survived without it. To call out one, I'd have to say my Kubota Tractor with Front end loader is my best tool buy ever. I know that expands what the OP probably intended as a "tool" but I use that...

Slowing Down Miter Saw to cut metal

Folks, I have read many threads here regarding ac motor speed controllers and I think the answer to my question is a flat no but figure I'll ask. I have an old non-brushless Makita miter saw that I want to use to cut metal. I need to slow the saw in order to be in the safety zone for the metal...
